Has anyone heard that country song Alyssa Lies?

I HATE that song - it does make me cry every single time. So much so that I change the station as quickly as possible when it comes on now.

Yes, I have and yes, it did make me cry. It is a sad song but a very good one.

i get choked up everytime i hear that song. my bf first told me about it because he goes did you hear that new song melissa lies (since my name is melissa he was being a turd) and then i downloaded and told him it was alyssa lies and i said did you actually listen to this song, and he is like no, and i made him listen to it and he never said anything about it again.

I heard it for the first time two weeks ago. It doesn't make me cry, but it burdens my heart. What is truly sad is that the singer who sings the song is getting divorced from his wife. I hate to hear that. Especially when it coincides with his ride to fame.

yes this song made me cry while playing it as i was playing it for the radio station www.crossfire-radio.com. the listeners new i was brought to tears by this song. this song brings the reality that child abuse is real and most do nothing about it until its too late. its a real eye opening song.

You're right, Alyssa Lies is such a sad song that it will make you cry for sure. I don't know how many times I have listened to it and I cry every time. I sing along with it and get broken up every time I do.
