i prefer Eye glass than contact lens...the contact lens may fall and they may cause damage to our eyes..but eyeglass are not like that..they wont cause any damage to our eyes..we can use stylish glasses to attract others..

I have both contacts and eyeglasses but my eyeglasses is just a back up especially in the morning if I haven't gone the chance to put my contacts on. For vanity's sake, I prefer contacts because if I wear my glasses, it is the most prominent feature you can see in my face...lol.

hi there, i was surprised many people have eye problem since a lot has been responding here. you are right, for vanity's sake, use contact lens. but still eyeglasses was never a passe' as others still prefer to use it. i have used both and now im tired of wearing either one of the two. anyways, its ok for me since i never need to go out more often nowadays. thank you for the reply.

I would think it depends. For one, not everyone can wear contacts not by choice, I know a person or two that are not allowed to use them, then there is also the issue of getting used to it, knowing you have a strange object on your eyes might be uncomfortable for some people. I'd like to try it, it beats leaving marks on your nose like the eye glasses do with those ruberry things that hold them in place, it does look ugly to have those bruisings there after time. I might need something to improve my eyesight so I will have to look into these things. It all depends on how long they last, how good they are, their price... I know I do not usually look good with glasses on. One thing I'd love to try is those weird contact lenses with funny colors and shapes. Might be a way to experiment if I feel comfortable enough top have it as something on a more permanent level. And lenses are good in the way that you can't put it down somewhere and forget it or even break it.

good answer, thanks! but one time i also got my eyes irritated due to contacts. so i went back on using traditional eyeglasses but when going into a party or playing badminton, i'd rathe put my contacts on.

yeah, sometimes it takes time too for me to put it on. so maybe let's say we can still use both.

glasses too are easy to use. contact lens sometimes has bad effects.. my eyes got irritated when i uses contacts and my red eyes lasted for 5 days. doctor says, its because of the contacts. since then i never used contact lens but if really needed i will still prefer wearing it.

I prefer to use eyeglasses. I am afraid of using contact lenses. Because contact lenses need an extra care. If you don't have time to clean your contact lenses, it will be a problem.

you are right, and you need to avoid being exposed to a heavy air as it might fall down. eyeglasses are still saleable, anyways we cannot please evrybody.. each are entitled to use what they prefer. thank you.

with advancement of technology contact lenses are no doubt being prefered by many and slowly replacing the eye glasses. but i would, if need be, select a freaky looking eyeglasses as i feel there easy to use than the contact lenses. well if possible i would prefer a radial keratomy operation to avoid either the contact or eye glasses.

I wear both contacts and glasses. Some days my allergies are too bad for contact lenses. I wear glasses a lot at home. I wear contacts when I'm out!

I prefer eyeglass as I find it’s easier to be handled. I can put it on or take it off at my wish. More over I can simply keep it on the desk or put it in my pocket. Lastly it’s more economical to use eyeglass in a long run.

i would prefer to use eye glasses ,
contact lenses are more sensitive and requires much more care to handle the situations.

I will always wear glasses and no contacts for me. Because the doctor said my eyes are too sensitive for contact lens. For glasses I can take it off whenever you like without fear of infection and it is not so much hassle as in changing contact lens each time.

I prefer to wear my glasses but only because I have an astigmatism and wearing contact lenses is really hard for me as they often move and create extremely blurry vision which really isnt good if I am driving! I dont mind wearing glasses as I have had to wear them for a very long time
