Seeing the deceased?

My friend's 8 year old brother passed away in January. They were very close (he's 21), he took care of this kid for the first 5 years of his life. Anyway, he wasn't there to say goodbye to him before he passed away. He missed him by about 20 minutes..and lately, my friend said he's been..seeing him, in his dreams, and even when he's fully awake, any time of the day. Basically he thinks he's going crazy, because he's seeing his deceased little brother, and it's really beginning to scare him, he doesn't know how to make it go away. I told him I think it's because he didn't get to say goodbye.. neither of them did, so his brother's coming back to say goodbye now. But he, (my friend) can't even bear to look at him, because it scares him so much. I was just wondering what any of you thought of this? ever been in or known someone to be in that situation?

I have experienced this once about a few years back. One of the kids I grew up with in school had passed away and for some odd reason came to see me. He had dwelled in my basement for a bout 1 week. The presence of him just being there was so dark and weary feeling. I didn't like him here so I finally told him to leave cause he had no buisness here at all. A few days later he did leave and he never did return. I hope that he doesn't stay to long. Most of the time you can ask what they want or he could just simply tell him how much he loved him and that he was sorry for not getting there on time before he passed. Also he can tell him that he will not forget and let him know how much he does care. I think this is all he really wants is to just let him know that he cares. If he doesn't do so he may continue to bother him for quite some time.

Thank you. I'm just worried about him, he has this strong feeling that he's losing his mind, because he's not really the spiritual type and he doesn't believe in it. I hope he goes away too, I really do. But I really want him to say goodbye to him first.

I would ask you to advise your friend and his family to pray for his brother. You can also advise him to say goodbye to his brother and that they have accepted his fate knowing that he is better off where he is now.

Actually I happened to experience this situation before during the time when my uncle past away. One time he appeared on my dream then all of a sudden he told me to find his son that run away from him for several years already. So the next thing I did was to look for my cousin then told upon seeing him I told him that his father was really looking for him. After that incident his son was very sorry for what he did & now he's raising his own family.
