Are animal right activists right?

The animal rights activists are against any move to clear the dogs from main cities. They are not botheres about the menace cause by the stray dogs. Do you support them?

They remind me of the eco-terrorists who let minks out of their cages. They fail to realize that in the wild, the minks will die.
Stray dogs in the city don't live very good lives. They're cold, hungry, dirty, and often diseased. They're better off euthanized, to say nothing of the people in the city. Stray dogs are public safety and public health hazards, and those considerations should take precedence over everything else.
