Basically, it's just a keyboard and mouse with no wires. It connects to the computer by infrared. Wireless devices are battery operated. But recently A4Tech had created a wireless mouse that doesn't need batteries.

Well I adore wireless mice but I bought one once and I kept forgetting to charge it so it kept stopping at the most inapropriate moments... So now I have a wired one. Perhaps I'll buy another wireless one day but this time the kind without a cradle and that you can use even while charging. :)

we used to have a wireless mouse but the pain for my brother was to keep on buying new batteries for it and now he put on the wired on back. we always had wired keyboard though. never knew they made a wireless for the keyboard.

I use wireless mouse and keyboard. Its brand is A4-Tech. I prefer to use this because it's much comfortable specially when I'm watching movies in my PC and I'm in my bed I don't need to get up when I need to do something in my computer.

All of my computers use wireless mouse and keyboards and all are logitech. As for battery life there doesn't seem to be any problems for me because they last for months. When you purchase one of these be sure to get rechargable batteries and a charger for it. If you're opting for a wireless mouse it's best to use a laser mouse. By the way, a laser mouse is different from an optical mouse.

I have a logitech wireless mouse... But I don't use it on daily basis, cause it cost me money to buy batteries... Now I just using it when I watch DVD on my PC so it acts like a remote... I still dependant to my wired mouse though...

I prefer everything wired. I don't like to spend money on batteries. And some times this remote stuff don't work as they should so I better stick with wired keyboard and mouse.
