The latest programming language is...?

Ruby is not a very new language. I am not sure about the exact year of its release but i know that it was developed in Japan. Since its documentation was in Japanese it did not become a success around the world initially but had a huge success rate in Japan. Lately it was translated to English. After that many people started to use it and is a success among programmers through out the world. Ruby is a complete Object Oriented Program. It can be used for application as well as web development.
