Most of the discussions in mylot are wome-centred. Be it parenting, or cooking or shopping or relationships or dressing... all are from the women's point of view? Why is it so?

well maybe because there are more women on the site that are asking questions and answering. Or just that the men tend to gravitate towards topics other than those you've mentioned. I know I tend to steer clear of mechanics or other topics I don't feel especially educated in.

You really cant make out here if the member is a male or a female as almost everyone here uses a proxy name. So was a little confused! I never could understand why males would talk about shopping, parenting, cooking, laundry???

Mainly because women are much more expressive and open on their thoughts, views and thinking. . Guys tend to hold back whatever they feel.. somehow. . Haha! thanks for agreeing with me. LOL (",)

This only shows that those who started the discussions and those who responded to it, are all women. The men's touch on these topics will only come in if, the men will get their hands in topics of this kind also.
