Different colors of the stars in myLot

Pardon my ignorance but I would really want to know more about the rating system of myLot. I already checked the faq's here but I am still wondering what the colors of the start stand for. I've noticed some blue, dark red, light red, yellow, green and maybe some other color that I didn't mention. Thanks in advance.

As well as what beaniefanatic said I can add that the star rating also goes along with the quality of your posts as well. Also it's rated along the lines of your comments on photos etc. So the star rating is set up to intice members to do quality & quanity posting & comments in all areas of the myLot community. Thanks & hope this helps a little more.

Thank you for your response Grandpa Bob! That's really sweet of you :) just to get a little off topic, when I see grandfathers or when I talk to some, I remember mine...he has passed away and I loved him so much. Anyway thank you really for making my day!

The color corresponds with a number, blue-10, red-9, yellow-8, ect. the numbers are your mylot reputation and are suppose to reflect how others here at mylot see you. The higher the number the higher your reputation. You get the stars by how other members rate you in your discussions and your responses. The higher the number the more "+" you have been given the lower the number the more "-" you have been given. Hope that helps to clear up the confusion. :)

Thank you for your response. Now I get it. LOL I thought that a red colored star was like a "danger" sign or something! I didn't know that each rate has a designated color to it, I really thought that each color has a different set of 1-10 numbers (ratings). Thanks again!
