Would you do as God asks?

It's a difficult answer if one doesn't really believe in God. I would have done what Abraham would have done if God asked me too since deep inside I also know that the God that I know would never let me go through with it.

I have thought of this before. When I saw the movie "The Passion of the Christ" I kept thinking of what Mary the mother of Jesus went through, watching what they did to her son. I honestly do not know if I could do that. I would like to think that I would trust in God but I pray that He would never ask me to do something like that.
