Does your Avatar in anyway resemble yourself?

i am happy go lucky kind of a person, trying to be jovial always and take life as it comes without worrying much about what is not in store for me or even worrying what people are lucky for. so i have that smiley you can see and thats what i feel resembles me. I see many avatars that are in noway related to their self for example- a small piggy dancing (hello!! sorry if anyone has that by any chance. DOES YOUR AVATAR IN ANYWAY RESEMBLE OR RELATE YOU IN ANY MANNER OR ITS JUST THE PIC YOU LIKED ?

Funny I have wondered the same thing. Nope mine looks nothing like me. It was just the only picture I had on the pc at rhe time.

No, my avatar does not resemble me an anyway. After I wrote that I thought hmmm, does it? My husband liked Jelly Belly Jellybeans, and we always had them around the house. My little cousins would come over, and always ask for some. They knew we usually had them, and started calling me Auntie Jellybean LOL
This picture reminded me of that story, and that is why I choose it.

ya i always try to keep that same avtar which resembles me...its a gr8 way to express what u feel abt urself to the outside world...when i m in my professional mood i keep my professire attire's avtar....and the best part of the avtar wrt the pictures is that the animations in it which makes few movements...they r very cute and i love them...

didnt see any animation but the avatar is really colorful as is holi that resembles all colors of life. good selection by the way. the best part of these colors is absence of black.

My earlier avatar definitely resembled me coz it was my own picture. But my current avatar is also close to my heart - it is a picture of one of my soft toys that my bf had given me:)

Although my avatar -- 19th century French poet Charles Baudelaire -- doesn't look like me at all, it represents pretty well how I feel these days. Black-and-white, serious, haunted... but don't worry, I can laugh and enjoy life on occasions too!

No, my avatar doesn't resemble myself. But I love dogs and I ever had a dog which I loved her very much. That's why my avatar is a small dog.

Only in that it is playing violin. I'm an overweight balding old man, and what hair is remaining it is gray. But I searched for free avatars involving violins, and this one appealed to me. I got it at
www.allavatars.com, and the artist is Carolina Eade from Chile.
No, I don't play professionally, I just started learning the instrument late last year. I can play short simple songs (though a bit off tune still)

I definitely don't look like mine (or sound like either). But Donald Duck is one of my most favorite cartoon characters when I was a kid. I even own a raincoat today with a big Donald Duck drawing on the back. I really liked the mild cartoon violence that Donald usually goes into. Especially those 40s to 50s episodes with Chip N Dale. Aaah, those were the days...

My avatar IS me lol.
I didn't really want to go searching for a picture on the 'net to use, and while I have a lot of different pictures stored on my computer I couldn't find one that I really liked, so my partner suggested using one of myself instead.
The one I'm using is one of the few photos of me that I like. A lot of people suggested that I looked like I was modeling or something LOL, and I got a huge kick out of that.
I don't feel the need to hide who I am or what I look like though. I am who I am and you either like me or not lol. It doesn't really bother me.

WHY YES, YES IT DOES.... lol I saw this little bee and it reminded me of my cousin...we live very far apart and call each other this quite frequently as a joke.. therefore I use it as an avatar. I don't care for putting up pictures of myself anywhere..feels a little awkward..so all the pics on my page are avatars that are either funny or have some other meaning to me.

- im 29, alive, i don't kill people or to visit cemetary's,
- somethimes play or act like im smart and inteligent
- and most important i made my avatar by myself using adobe and corel...
I think it represents me but in some strange "artistic" view..

well well, everything u sad is true, but when i was making it i didnt thinked about it that way. So it seems that i just made it and You read it..Now i can say: People somethimes can be judged trough avatar but probably just if they "produce" it by them self.... I can say that this what you wrote about me is pretty good decription, specially becaouse you used only my avatar for this. Regarding travels, well i can say i was exploring my life in real and metafizical ways, so i can confirm your statement about search, but i dont know did I serched for glory or for my peace..Ill tell u when i find it... C'mon, tell me more about me..please...

absolutely! my avatar is a picture of cinderella castle at disney world. that's our favorite "family" place to travel, and every time i see it, i am flooded by memories. it keeps me light-hearted.
