was surfing for kids projects that would be boht entertaining and educational. I was amazed at what I found. This one site has so many patters and projects and they are wonderful. Here is sample of what is on the site. I dont think any of these links will work though. The Site is called Artists Helping Children and can be found here
http://www.artistshelpingchildren.org/artforchildren.html
There are projects that are appropiate for teens and adults as well as children. If you have children, you will love this site. There are projects that can be used for homeschoolers, sunday school classes and just about anything that you can think of. Hope you enjoy it as much as I have. Please leave a comment. Have fun with those precious children before they grow up.

There is a link on that page that has a "How to Draw".
A couple of my children are constantly asking me how to draw a certain thing.
This site could really help me because I am even sometimes stumped as to how to draw something. :)
Thanks for the site, it is something that can be very useful in my house!
We are very into art here!!!

Hi! Thanks for posting another incredible site! I haven't completely ruled out homeschooling, but if I ever find myself doing it, I will certainly have a jump on getting prepared for it! :-)

This sounds like a great website. MY children are grown now though, and I am not involved with children much any more so I really would have any used for the crafts. I can however pass the information on the the ladies on our church that work with the children .
Oh my, I decided to see if that link works and it did. I found a page for Custom Closet Organizers. That looks really neat. Not sure how affordable they are though. but they give you some great ideas . Oh there is a page for using old blue jeans, it says it for kids but it is not limited for just kids.

Another great site with lots of great ideas. I am loving this one too. With both sites I should be able to entertain my grandson for a long time. Thanks again.

One other site that I love is DiscoveryKids. It has a section where you can make word searches or crosswords. It's fun. My kids use to love doing them because I would make up a word search with all their favorite tv shows or things like that. It takes a few minutes and then you print it off. I know its not really craft related like what you are talking about but I figured it would help homeschoolers do something different.

Thanks for the information about this site. My child is really into art and I'm sure she'll enjoy it. I think I'll enjoy it too, I've been known to do my own little art pojects along with her when she's working. I'll be sure tocheck this place out soon.

Thank you for this link, i definitely appreciate this since im an artsy crafty person myself, and i am seriously thinking of the option to homeschool my child when she grows up. plus the fact that im also an Occupational Therapist and from where i used to work, we give vocational classes to children with special needs, and one of the vocational classes that we give is crafts, so this will really help me a lot, i will sure to relay this link to my friends who are still working there. Thanks again and take care!
