No way to correct

Don't know if this topic has been brought up or not but I haven't seen it if it has. I made a spelling error in a post tonight and didn't notice until after I had already posted and there was no way to go back and correct it. Also at times I have forgotten something I had intended to say and after you hit button it's too late to do anything about it. Wouldn't it be nice if they would give us a way to correct errors or add something we forgot?

I was actually quite surprised when I first found out that they don't let you edit your posts. I remember the first time I noticed a mistake in one of my posts, I searched the entire page for an edit button, but couldn't find one. I think this is these are the only message boards I've used that don't allow you to edit.
