Idea to start a new discussion

hello dpk! to answer your question, i never used my brain to think hard. i mean, i never think too hard for a new question. i notice that most of my posts with larger amount of responses came from the posts that i posted instantly, unlike the ones that i painstakingly composed 'well', the get smaller resposes...:P.. ladies are more creative i guess. they dominate the world of mylot with longer sentences..(and better english too..) chao!

I read a lot of newspapers, magazines and books and while reading I make note of certain interesting aspects and convert that into discussion topics and use some of them as response with due credit to those papers/persons etc.

I start a discussion when i think of something that needs to be asked. it may be that i ask what i thought beforehand or at the time I have started mylotting. I ask when i really need to ask.

hi dpk262006! what a long nickname you've got there. anyway, i personally want to think of mylot as a melting pot of minds. of course, we all want to earn some dollars for sharing our two cents' on various topics, but i think the most important thing is that you enjoy what you do. so, in light with your question, it need not be something you have had a deep researching gig for. it can be something as spontaneous as seeing a butterfly flutter by your bedroom window. after all, life is pretty much like that. i do have other jobs online and i use my time here in mylot to destress and try to see what other people are thinking on their side of the world. and it's very enlightening.

i get ideas from day to day life and its really simple........try once

i start a discusion if i really feel like ask others about any perticular topic or stuff....or if there is something im my mind which i really want to share with mylotians.....

Hey hi Deepak, I never start discussions thinking that i should start now ...Usually when ever i come online i just open my mailbox and check emails and i do work , and i also open mylot always when ever i check the responses and read some friends discussions, i get some ideas and then it leads to initiate the discussion, I suddenly get ideas when i am doing some work, then i immediately start posting discussions. Till now it happened to me like this and i start discussions. If i start like this only i got a pretty good count of responses for my discussions , the other way did not work for me...so i am contiuing this way, i am enjoying my stay in Mylot as of now and if friends like you are there very much supportive then there is no way i can go anywhere...thank you so much deepak for posting such a nice discussion, very much appreciated , Happy Posting and have a nice day ahead Byee take care:))

I don't start many discussions as I don't get much time, but mostly I start a topic of discussion based on the incidences in my life, I get good responses if the topic is really what experience I have faced in my real life or what has cropped up while I was reading or interacting with someone. Otherwise it is not very easy to get topics were people will respond

I don't find much subjects, for placing a discussion. Generally, I look out in News paper or Magazine, for the topic. Some I get while discussing something with family members. Thanks.

I generally dont start many discussions, as I dont understand the psyche of mylot friends..I have some silly (according to me) discussions getting 130-140 responses.. & few meaningful ones getting only 3-4 responses.. Now I basically start a discussion with basic stuff..& at times wid certain evets related to me or life in general..:)

I sometimes get ideas based on other peoples discussions, or something I saw on tv or in the news, or something my friends and I talk about. A lot of times I wonder how people feel about things and like to have others opinions on weird things.

I get some ideas while reading paper, watch something around in public behaviour and sometimes get some source of information from my home people. When a get an outline about some topic i will start composing it in my notepad and later post it here in mylot.before posting i make some changes and include some points too. very rarely i have started some discussions online.

Dear Deepak Yes I do think a lot while starting any kind of discussion here.. But the deep thinking is only about -- will other members like my discussion or not .. otherwise I don't go into deep thinking .. My main motive is that all members should like my discussion and be a a part of it. Even I like your discussions as well that is the main reason other members gets attracted to your discussions :)

It comes as I replu to other discussions. Sometimes theere is a subject ortopic that i want to share so I crop it in a way thatis not too long to read nor too short to grasp what it is.

I get the topic of my discussions of a sudden ..!! The time it pops up in my mind I straight away write down that in my mobile to remember it. Some times I just staright away start the discussion with a simple question in mind in need to find an answer!! and some times a deep thought comes out as a discussion!! So its not fixed. But I never any kind of research for a simple topic..!! :)

This is a great one. I can't believe that I missed it untill now. I start one on how I feel or what is on my mind. I sometimes go look at my discussions and just pick on at random. I can then choose a idea and run with it. I am not very good at this but I am getting better.

Hi dpk! The backbone of having a successful living is creativity (I mean for one to be able to bring out new ideas). So I would advice you to think before posting a discussion and it should be revelevant as well. Thanks

I dont do any deep thinking.just i would observe the day to day hapennings, watch the news and some times.. i do get the themes from the discussions already started here. But oflate i have a great pleasure in reading others topics and responding, Immaterial of the fact whether it is old one or new one. But it must be an interestin one to me. Take care friend:)

You know sometimes I have day when so many questions, ideas come to my mind and I don't have really problem to start few discussions. But other time i could think and think and nothing would come to my mind. I don't know what it really depends on. But the most time I would start discussion about things interest me and I want to know different opinions about things. Also when I just read someone discussion the question would just come to my mind.
