when putting on makeup, which of these should you put on first?

I do cleanse tone moisturise, concealer, foundation, it's how we were taught at college, but if something is really bad I will conceal again and blend in carefully before I powder, too many layers can look worse than the blemish.

I wear my make-up very simply. I don't wear any foundation, powder, or blush, and I ver rarely put on lipstick or lip gloss. So it is all about my eyes. First eyeshadow, then eye liner, then mascara.

I often hear that you do foundation first and then do concealer. Or at lease that is how I do it. I actually use tinted moisturizer and then use concealer on my dark circles and any blemishes if i have any.

Hi, there. Kumusta?.. In response to your question. I don't care which one should go first as long as the makeup should look flawless after you put it on. For me, I cleanse first, then toner (sometimes, if needed because I have very oily skin), then an SPF oilfree moisturizer, then foundation, THEN THE CONCEALER on areas that blemishes still show, and finally the finishing powder. Think about it, if you put on concealer on the blemishes first, there is a big chance that you would blend it "away" when you put on the foundation. Then you have to retouch it again with a concealer after. You would be putting on too much right. And too much isn't nice to look at. But in cases like dark circles under your eyes, it would be more "naturel" for concealer first then the foundation. It would blend "in" when you put on the foundation.
