Yes, I am an American and I can sing "The Star Spangled Banner" very well. I sang it at many games and things like that. I can sing and write the lyrics off the top of my head.

Oh, say can you see,
By the dawn's early light,
what so proudly we held,
at the twilights last evening,
who's broad stripes and bright stars,
through the perilous night,
for the ramparts we watched,
were so galantly streaming,
and the rockets red blare,
with bombs bursting in air,

that our flag was still there,

for the land of the brave,
and the home of the free.

Even i sing national anthem, but there are very few who can't. Our national anthem enhances and emphasizes our nation's beauty, our natural and linguistic beauty.

No but part of the problem is i don't think my coutry have decided on one yet! The Scottish are a bit indecisive and use about three i think. I know a few lines from each. :]

oh yes i am proud of this fact too that i can sing my country's national anthem. Eventually, at school times we all 're used to sing it in our assembly with our school band. So, it is still in our mind and soul and will for ever.

Of couse I can sing Nigeria's anthem and I'm proud of my country. If there is anyone here that cannot sing his or her country's anthem then I think he or she ought to be ashame
