I'm an Aunty and a Great-Aunt. Are you?

i'm a power aunt,as i call it. 8 nephews..god help me LOL they're something else when they all get together. never a dull moment ;)

I have been an aunt since I was 10 years old. So I also have 2 great nieces and 1 great nephew. Though none of them live very near so I don't see them very often. The "greats" that is. I see some nieces and nephews a lot and we certainly keep in contact via email.

I too am an aunt. My sister has twin boys, age 9, that I'm a proud "mi-mi" to! They've called me mi-mi since they were little, no clue why! LOL It's neat because she had twins and so did I, although she's got the 2 boys and I had boy/girl. But they're wonderful little sweethearts!

Peace be upon you my muslim sister. I am a young muslim man from Malaysia. I have 13 nephews and 12 nieces. Unfortunately I do not remember their birthdays. I myself have 2 sons and 1 daughter.

I have one niece and one nephew. They just turned 2 and 1, respectively. They're a bit too young to call, and I don't get to see them often (they both live 6+ hours away from me, in different directions), but I sent them lovely presents for their birthdays, and spoil them rotten on Christmas as well. I only wish there were more chances for me to get them presents, because I love finding them toys and other cute things!

I'm an aunt too :) I've got two nieces and five nephews. One we're not allowed to have contact with because his dad has custody and is weird. But all the others we stay in touch and I get see all put one fairy regularly. Three of them just moved back here and one of the others is getting ready to move back in the summer. I'm closest to my oldest niece. She'll be 16 this month! They're all through my hubby but I've been in the family since all but the oldest was born. My sister is 5 years younger and is planning on waiting a while longer to have any of her own. I too remember Christmas' and birthdays. I love them all and I'm glad most of them are around here 'cause I miss them when they're not :)

Wow! It seems you have a big family, and with a wide range of ages as well! I am the same way. I was an aunt before I was even born, lol. I have a niece and a newhew who are older than me (24 and 23), and I also have 10 others, including a great nephew who is 3. We aren't very close unfortunately because we live so far away from each other, but we do manage to keep in touch through Myspace and email every once in a while. I wish I were able to see them more often!

Yes, I am. I have 4 nephews and 5 nieces [counting step-nieces & step-nephews]. So, now I have 9 great-nephews and 6 great - nieces. I should be having a new great-niece any day. Being an Aunt is great. Christmas Eve dinner is at my house. They all love coming to their Aunt's house for that. LOL!

I'm an aunt with 3 nieces and a nephew, but I don't feel like an aunt. I came into the family when the youngest was about 5, and they all know me by my name, not as an aunt. My nephew was joking around one day and I mentioned that I was his aunt - he had to stop and think about it before he realized it. It doesn't bother me though. We have really close friends (though we live 5 hrs apart) who call us auntie and uncle. We've known them since they were born though and they treat us like that. It's pretty special.

My goodness, I tried to count them all and I've come up with 20 nieces and nephews...I think. And I've totally lost count on the greats... With such a large family it's really hard for me to keep track of everyone.

I am a Aunt and Great Aunt. My nephew made me a great Aunt when I was 16. I have 6 nephews, 2 neices, 2 great nephews, and 1 great neice. My nephew got married this past summer. He wife had a boy and girl already so I guess that would make 2 more greats. I am only 33 years old. It is possible for me to become a Great-Great Aunt and make my Aunt a 3X's. LOL This gets confusing.

It sounds like you have a lovely bunch of nieces and nephews! I am an only child, but I am blessed to have two nieces and two nephews through my stepsister, two nieces on my husbands side of the family, and an honorary nephew and godson from my best friend. :)

Wow-- it's nice that so many are blessed with a lot of nieces and nephews. I only have two nieces and one nephew on my husband's side, and one more on the way. I hope that one day I will have more through my brother. It's easy for me to remember the birthdays because there are so few.
