yes friends, i know it may sound absurd but its true. It's my birthday tommorow the 6th of march. But i know its gonna be the worst ever birthday for me.
I m living in UK, alone, and all my family and friends are in INDIA.
And as i dont have good friends here, i have not told to anyone that it is my birthday and i m feeling so bad for it.
I used to get 1000s of wishes at home, from family, friends, mates, and everyone but this year here i dont have friends to wish me, i dont have mates to celebrate with, i m so depressed.
What shall i do to overcome this depression,if birthday, the so very important day of life si gonna be like this,i dont know how will i manage with my life here in UK.
Shall i tell my collegues and country men here that its my birthday and celebrate with them, or shall i just sit inside the walls of my room and miss home.????
I m so confused,,,,,,,,,
very sad for me..........

hi happy bday to you!!
No it is not consider worst because you are alone pick up the phone and call them and go to the place of worship to thanks the creator for giving you 1 another year to spend and thanks all the blessing no matter how big or small it was.
I guess someone should know that it is you're bday for it is nice to celebrate your special day with new found friends and enjoy the day.
again a blessful day on your natal day!!!

If you're close to any friends over here, let them know and celebrate with them. If you don't have any close friends here make it your goal to make some before next year. Other than that call home and talk to some friends / family and let them know you miss them.

Dont worry cheerup pal, make new friends, share your happy moments with them( as this event is of joy, I am sure many would never reject to join u in the celebration).
You missing your parents is totally unreplacebale, but friends surely can be made new. The world has many good people scattered around everywhere.
So just Chill and have a great Birthday. God Bless

By all means tell your co-workers and any acquaintances you've made so far. Most of them know you are alone there and would welcome a chance to celebrate with you! I think you are very brave for living so far from home and family, too!

Happy birthday. i think you should tell people it is your birthday as that is something to celebrate that could make you a bit closer to the people you know here. Still have a little celebration here and try to contact your friends and family in India.

Hi there. I know it must be tough to be alone. I have friends that came back from the UK last year after being there for a while. If it will make u feel any better, I will think of you tomorrow. I you go on http://www.highveld.co.za and listen via streaming audio, I will see if I can get a song dedicated to you for your birthday.

I think u should celeberate your birthday with your collegues and friends if any at UK. It'll certainly help you out in patting your home sickness but do remember that you also remain in contact with your family. They will also be wishing you ur janam din through any possible means.
by the way wishing you alot on birthday........ :)
