HOLI- India's Festival of Colors

Yesterday, we were invited by our Indian colleagues and boss' to take part in their celebration of HOLI, India's Festival of Colors. What we were expecting was putting colors on our faces, much like Ati-atihan and Masskara festival in the Philippines. But we were not expecting the outcome of the celebration. The moment we went down to meet them, we were greeted with a cold splash of WATER!!! All of us get wet, and we definitely have fun. After almost two hours of clean fun, just splashing water to each other and putting water color/food color to each other's face, we had a very pleasant lunch, courtesy of our Indian bosses.
