Hiya coolchic!;) So how's Jersey then, I'm just curious why some call New York as 'city'?

New York City is in the state of New York. It consists of 5 boroughs- Manhattan, the Bronx, Staten Island, Queens and Brooklyn. The most visited borough in NYC by tourists is the island of Manhattan. New Yorkers call Manhattan "the city" for short.
A lot of filipinos in NYC and New Jersey too!

hi kakabayan . . . we are not so far from where you are now ! i'm here in philadelphia i think only 2 hrs drive from new york City as we came over there last Nov & we're planning to visit my brother again soon there at Yonkers ... pinoys are much more in NY or NJ than from us here in Pennsylvania only a few .

mabuhay kabayan! I am Filipino but I am presently residing/working in China. CHINA-it sure sounds like a big country with so many people :) Oh, I love being here . The people are friendly, fun loving, culturally rich. There are still other great cities in China that I have been dreaming to visit. Any pinoys in China who are mylot users?
