What If You Could Turn Back Time Only for a Day?

What if you are given only one chance to turn back the hands of time and live a particular day in your life, what would it be? This might sound so corny, or others might just think this is just a piece of crap...But have you given it a thought, lately? It is said that life is too short that you don't know if you could still live the next day..Others live life to the fullest like there's no tomorrow, while others think there is still hope because tomorrow's another day..What if we don't have a another shot to tomorrow and all we have is yesterday? Think about it.

great question. if i could go back one more day i would spend the whole day with my mother, she just passed away in dec and i would give anything to have one more day with her. i would spend that day makeing more wonderfull memories with her. life is to short and i do try to live it to the fullest just to have that one more day with my mother would fullfil my herat and maby settle the thoughts in my mind did i do all i could.

hi, mrsbrian! "no matter what kind of relationship you have with your parents, you will surely miss them once they're gone." based on your post and from some of my friends' experiences, i realized that this quote is true. i have a love-hate relationship with my mom. we fight most of the time but i try to control the things i say to her, especially the hateful things i am tempted to say whenever we fight. i just shut my mouth because i know sooner or later, i will regret saying those words. in your case, i'm sure your mother knew how much you loved her before she passed away. keep smiling and have a great day!

thank you emily i dd not always have a great relationship with my mother but as i grew older and became a mother i saw all that i had done was wrong so i spent the remaining years trying to make that up to her,but just that one more day, oh the love i would give to her.

a 2nd chance...
hmmmm...
turning back the time...
in our life, there are times that we enjoy and laugh...
there are also times that we cry and regret...
life's really like that...
it doesn't offer you both sides...
and if given a chance to bring back the time,...
i would definitely choose to fix my damages - the damages i have brought to others, to those who are not intended to and especially to myself...
regrets are always a part of it...
and if ever i could fix and do something...
i'll grab the opportunity to glue all the parts of those damages...

hi and welcome to mylot. they say it is useless to live your life with regrets. "don't wallow in the past." "focus on the present." but i often wish i could turn back time to correct my wrongs. 2 years ago i did a very dreadful thing. forgive me but for personal reasons i could not discuss it here in detail. it's too painful and i don't think i could ever forgive myself for committing that sin. sadly, i can't go back in time to 2 years ago and undo what i did. i'm trying my best to move on and look at that experience as a lesson learned but the memory of that day will haunt me forever.

i always reminisce the wonderful moments in my life...including the worst experiences i had that haunt me sometimes.hehehe...lol! i wish i could go back on that certain time to fix everything...but i guess it's part of my life and it has a purpose! there are instances when i wanna do something but i was hesitant that time and failed to do it, until it's too late. that is the thing that i wanna go back. i wish i could go back on that time and do the things i wanna do...so there will be no more regrets...
