Hi everyone Don't want you all to think that I'm a raging alchoholic but why do I do this to myself? Night out last night at pub quiz (yes of course we won!) and had a great time! Fast forward to 7:30 this morning and it's a very different story as I have to get my 5 year old ready for school with a raging headache and frequent trips to the toilet to shout down the big white telephone( throw up!). As soon as she gets picked up for school I'm back in bed and feeling shocking!!! More trips to the bathroom but this finally settles down around noon - but it's 3 o'clock before I can even manage to haul myself to the computer!
The whole point of having a night out was cause I haven't been too well and there was so much stress surrounding me that it seemed like a good idea to go out , de-stress and relax. Now this worked last night but is it all worth it when I end up feeling so blah today?
Has anybody else thought about this? Have you ever said never again? Any funny stories, let me hear them - I need to know I'm not the only idiot out here!!!!

First of all I'm not going to agree with you being an idiot.Just can not even fathom you in that light.I haven't been drunk in years but I do recall hearing a good hangover remedy. When you get home prior to passing out for the night eat a slice of dry bread and drink one cup of gatorade(sports drink in case you don't have gatorade there).Let me know if it works
Cheers

Oh I have TONS of stories. The most recent being after a week of being very busy with several stressful situations (maid of honour in a wedding for one friend, supporting another getting a divorce after finding her husband of 17 years had cheated on her, helping my husband run his business, writing a mid-term for my p/t college course, having a cold and oh yes, let's not forget working my full-time factory job on my feet for 40 hours a week). Well, on the Saturday evening after all of this was said and done, I decided to head on over to my friend's place (the one getting the divorce) to commiserate and offer support. I had three drinks and ended up passing out on her sofa by 10:30pm and then puking for an hour. She had to put a bucket next to me. But, it was all dry-heaves since I'd had very little time to eat anything that day. Oh, man, that was one of my worst nights in a long time. And it wasn't like I was binge drinking or anything. Just a couple of drinks over some pizza, but along with my cold (and the medication too) it was enough to do me in good. I was pretty much done for all day Sunday as well. So much for feeling relaxed! :)

Yeah I have a few stories too - but I don't want everyone to think I drink all the time - they span over 20 years!!!
You poor soul LindaLou that doesn't sound like much fun at all! Hope life isn't too stressful now and that you can relax a bit more! (with or without a drink!) and NO hangovers!!!

LOL I have heard you saying it during the week too x! lol Your hair was only black then cos you were still using Just for Men! lol Or was it Grecian 2000?
Anyway I think that men look much sexier when they start greying - like my David and George Clooney - it adds a lot to their sexiness!
