I've done a lot of shoppings but never online. Some of my friends do it. They use their credit card to buy things online. They order gifts and have them delivered to their love ones. It's really convenient. But I'm not quite sure if this is really safe. I've read that if you are unlucky, someone might get hold of your credit number and use it. You are the one paying the bills whilst someone else is enjoying the merchandize. On the positive side though. non of my friends ever experienced this. But still, i'm quite hesitant. Have you done online shopping? So far, so good?

online is a fast convenient way to shop and pay bills I do it all the time but I do worry about that sort of thing so I went out and bought me a prepaid debit card.Cost me $5 everytime I put money on it but at least I know if someone steals my number they cant take anymore than I got on the card.

i do shop online ocassionally. right now, its mostly with my paypal, which is pretty safe i think. but i have used my credit cards. the most things i purchase online is pizza...hehe...i like ordering from the website then calling in. i only shop and enter personal information on secure sites and only shop at trust worthy sites. sometimes things are just cheeper online or you can find something you can't find at a local store. my sister shops online a lot as well and sends gifts to me and my kids like that sometimes for christmas or birthdays. my mom on the other hand, wouldn't. its a personal choice. i believe in the security on most sites. but since i've been making money on mylot and other places added into my paypal account. i can shop from there =)

For the most part, yes, it is safe. I shop online a lot and I love it and haven't had any problems. It's good to check out the site you're buying from a bit to make sure it's legitimate and ask your friends who shop online what sites they would reccomend. There is always a risk when giving out your credit card information online but as long as you're careful about it, it's not really much less safe than using a credit card to shop in real life.

e-bay is ok. you just have to do a bit of research about those who sell there...

I have done a lot of shopping on line and never had any problems. Amazon, Play.Com and other sites, all have secure payment methods. eBay and Paypal are also secure, so don't worry.
