"Idol" actually means "role model" - someone to emulate, and move others to be positive actors in society, too.

yes you are rite.....that person should prove a role model to the youth....for talent, intelligence, determination, hardwork and courage......but i have been reading a lot of articles about American idol not judging people on all these grounds.
