Each time I come to MyLot I notice the population here and how fast it grows. It's amazing to me how many people joing each day. How long ago did this site start. Was anyone here when the population was under 1,000?

I'm here already since this year, so that made around 50. 000 + users I think. So last times it's growing very fast! Amazing that it can stand towards this amazingly big population! Mylot rocks!

It has grown by 20.000 in the last two months I have been here. But that don't mean much. People sign up and go away. Out of 75.000 members... there are only 6500 members who have answered more than 100 questions. That is less than 10 percent. So counting the recent new active members... you might say that just 10 percent of members are actually posting on myLot. For instance... I went to get myself five referrals the first week I was here. The 5 of them became members... but never posted anything.

You know...I am not sure when myLot started. I have seen people that have belonged to myLot for a good 8 or 9 months! But I have only been here for 4 months. And even though myLot community does seem to be growing in numbers...for some reason, not all of the member actually do anything. I have a few referrals that joined but did not post. I wish that myLot members that joined the community and were not active would realize that it is fun and worth it!

I haven't done any referrals at all yet. I know what you mean about people learning how nice this site is, at least it is for me. Thanks for always giving me comments on my discussions brokentia!

I wondered the same thing. Too bad they don't have that included in frequently asked questions.

Not too sure how many members when I joined but a lot. One thing though is that I would say that less than 10% of the members who are registered are actually active on the mylot forum. Some people will register but then decide that it takes a lot of time to make minimum payout, so they won't return. Already I can see that happening and I was nearly one of those myself. However, one day I decided that I would stick it out till I got minimum payout and see how I felt then. So, having received my first payment, I am now trying to get my second one this month. Have to say though that it is hard going this month and if I don't reach the minimum then I will get it next month and that will probably be it for me. So, for me to stay, there has to be a purpose and that is making the minimum payout each month. I cannot fathom how the payments are worked out here, because they vary so much. I can make the same number of posts in a day, about the same length etc but the amount I am paid can vary wildly. This sort of site always grows in numbers, but as I said a lot of people fall by the wayside when it actually comes down to it. Often they come with high expectations and when that doesn't happen, they will leave. I do not want a fortune, just to make the $10 per month and not have posts deleted, which will of course reduce the amount that i make.
