what is the best mousing cat?

i have a mouse problem and need a cat to take care of them. what is the best breed of cat for this?

I believe most adult cats have a instinct to chase mice and make it there mission in life to catch it, wait for hours on end to catch another glimpse of it. To chase it and catch it.

I would go with a calico, I read in a magazine that they were good for catching mice.

Any cat has the natural preditor in him to do the job. It can be a male or female. A breed or a mix.

It's that special breed of cat that, fortunately, can be found anywhere: Hungry Cat. :)
Hungry Cats will take care of your rodent problem. Another breed, Not-Hungry Cat, will play with the pesky rodents (although the rodents don't consider this particular form of "play" very much fun), but soon a Hungry Cat usually shows up and devours the poor wee rodents.
