Global Warming

Recently i watched the oscar winnig documentary on global warming - The Inconvenient Truth featuring former US President Al Gore and after watching i was really worried of what we humans are doing to our home,our planet earth.It seems like the next ice age is not so far.And the major pollutor of all countries is none other than the United States of America which keeps on neglecting the fact.More than 30% of the world's air pollution is from U.S.A.More than combating terrorism it should focus on this issue which is much more threatful not only to USA but to the whole mankind.Those who have seen this documentary woud agree with me and those who have not seen it I strongly recommend you to watch this and encourage others to see it.
I would love to have some feedback on this issue and also some ideas as to how can we reduce the pollution that we cause in our day to day life.

I havent seen this yet and im not sure I want to..I am already aware of what we have done and doing..Like in the Artic in Canada..there was a huge Ice Mass that had melted some..and it was the size of 15 football failed and it broke free,they thought we had at least 100 more years before that happened and it happened within a week..bad bad things are coming..we are killing our planet and ourselves slowly..I just hope me and my son will be long gone in Heaven and not have to go threw seeing it get to the extreme :(

You should watch this documentary as there are many things we never knew are shown in this film with some really disturbing datas.

Recently, scientists of the Harvard University discovered that one of the five ice-beds of the North Pole has been disintegrated drastically within past one year. This fact was never noticed until last week of November 2006. It has also been noticed that this big ice-bed is now floating on the North Sea. This floated ice-bed can now start approaching down towards the north boundary of Canada. Scientists are trying to keep an eye on the movement of this ice-bed. Satellites are helping in this regard by sending continuous pictures and data of this ice-bed. The most worried part of this incident, apart from the Global Warming, is that if by any chance this ice object reaches near to the border of Canada, it may create a great problem for the ships which are regularly traveling near the border of Canada.
