Where are the best and the worst places in teh world to teach for a living?

I have taught in secondary schools in the UK for 10 years and am staring to get really hacked off with it. Students are becoming increasingly riotous and many simply do not care about getting an education, although tehy will kick up a fuss about more educated immigrants coming over and "taking their jobs". Government and employers are increasingly swamping us in regulation and red tape that actually prevents us from doing our job and nobody seems to respect us as professionals. Surely other countries have got a better system then this, we can't all be doomed.
