OK, so why do you think Walmart hates poor people? Also, if you can't afford to buy something outright, don't you think you should wait and save up to get it? You didn't explain why you hated walmart, just that you use layaway.

Well 4 one it didn't say SHE hated walmart but that she thinks walmart hates poop people but umm yea ... i think walmart doesn't really care about the less fortunate people .. they just care about what makes them the big bucks !

Since when is it their job to care about poor people? They are a for-profit company!

Well judging by your post I'm assuming that Walmart no longer offers layaway? I wasn't aware of this. I know when I was growing up my mom would often put things on layaway, especially during the Christmas season where money was often tight. I wonder if they were having too many bad experiences with layaway or if it became a hastle? I would think that this feature would be missed by many people and could even result in them losing business..

I havent been to Wal-mart for the reason that its not available in my country. But here there are lot of layaway offers even to rich people. so i think layaway plans are for rich and poor as well.
My suggestion is that save money for the stuff you want to buy, so you wont consider yourself as a less fortunate one. And not go into layaway plans. For sure the things that you want to buy are just the wants, isnt it?

Well I for one use to use the walmart layaway and i loved it because it alouded me to put things in layaway that might not be there when i had the money to buy them outright.. or for instance my sons bday is coming up i would rather pay the store to hold the item so that not only i could pay it little by little but not only that but i don't want my son to see the gift till his bday ..
so in close i do agree to an extent that walmart isn't really looking out for their customers .. well thanks for shring :)
