Sleeping inside the classroom during class hours

Alright, back to our school days again. Oh yeah, I was one of the students who is always caught sleeping especially during my junior year in college. My junior year was the heaviest year for me in college. I had 32 units in my subjects, plus that was usually time for theses in my minor subjects. I always don't have enough time to sleep to be able to submit the required projects on time. And yeah, I can remember I was caught 7 times sleeping in class by the same professor in Economics. That's why until now, we are good friends because he wouldn't really forget me for sleeping many times in his class.:)

There's nothing wrong with sleeping in classes. It is rare for me NOT to fall asleep during lectures or tutorials. I just hate it when the teachers sometimes threaten to throw chalk or deliberately ask you to answer a question when they know you are obviously sleeping and have no idea what is going on.

Exactly! This a nice advice for teachers out there. Hmmm.. You make me laugh, lordwarwizard. But yeah, you're right. Why do they have to catch your attention when in fact they already know you are sleeping. lol. Well, it's just a normal thing for a teacher to get mad because of course, it's one way of disrespecting them. That's why some of them make fun of you, like they will throw you bunch of questions to attest your ability even if you got asleep. :)

Yeah my college life was also so good.I used tosit in my first bench and sleep.But i was a really good student so all the teachers like me.I am not that good in academics but i respect them and talk to them very well.I always smile at them and wish them too.So i think that a teachers pet is not only a good grade candidate but also a person who respects them .I found that in my college

Yeah, me too. I suck at school when I was in college. BUt though we're not academically inclined, it doesn't mean we're dull right? We are just smart on some ways. lol. And yeah, I agree. When you respect a teacher, that's most likely they could never forget you about. Proper attitude. :)

for me it was my junior year in highschool. The class? Chemistry. I really think it was the class room that put me to sleep. I like the instructor well, I found the topics interesting, but I could NOT stay awake. I was fine when I entered the classroom but within minutes I could not keep my eyelids open, it was as if they were weighted down, no matter how I tried I could not keep them lifted. When class was over and I left that room I was wide awake again. I think something in that room made me lose consciousness.

Speaking of Chemistry, yeah, it had somehow made me sleep too because of our teacher. SHe was such a boring one, with a very low voice. SHe was kinda on her late 50's already. That's why she was quite a bit slow when she teaches. :)
