have you learned anything new today and if you did share it please

Not that this would excite anyone, but I did learn something new today. I learned how to put a guest's hotel stay onto their South West Airlines bonus card so they can earn their points. It's sad how many I've done wrong before. But now I know.

I´ve learned that I´ve got hidden talents. A friend of mine is working at a language school. She was sick yesterday and asked me to help her out. I thought it would be a total disaster, but to my surprise everything turned out well. They´ve even asked me if I would consider working as a substitute again.

I guess I have learnt that there are some fantastic people in this world and a lot of them are here on MyLot.

i learned that i'm stronger than i give myself credit for. my husband just left for a 6 month deployment this morning (US Marine Corps) and i have been sad, but overall i have been going about my day as usual and only shed tears as we said "good bye" and maybe a few a little later on, but overall i'm holding up much better than i expected. so, i learned something new about myself.
