I play the saxophone - mostly alto, although I love the soprano as well. (Someone else can have the larger ones!) I actually started off on trombone, but the parts were so boring...I needed something with a little more flair. ;)
I would love to learn to play the guitar and piano, too - piano especially, since I inherited my grandmother's and it's just sitting unused in my living room. I'm hoping to start my daughter in piano lessons when she's a bit older, and maybe I'll take them with her.

Taking piano lessons with your daughter would be a great way to bond. Something just you and her are doing.
I love the sound of saxophones, but I've never attempted to play one. Is it hard to play?

No, it's really not hard to learn! It takes practice to get good at it (or any instrument), of course, but just learning the finger placements and such isn't hard at all. I would imagine that something like the trumpet, where all the notes were made with just three keys, would be more challenging.

Wow, sounds like you're pretty musical talented. Lucky you, I don't even think I could play anything if I took lessons for years! :-)

I'd like to play with my organ, although it does not make a good sound, it hits all the right notes.
Being serious I actually play the drums, for 5 years now although I've never learnt from the drumming masters, I thought I'd relieve some stress by bashing my org..er drums

I play guitar and piano since I was seven. My brother taught me the basics and I pretty much learn the rest on my own. I still play guitar regularly, but currently, I have no piano of my own. Sometimes I would go to music store just to play a little.

yea i play the guitar with my friend. weve been playing since like around 17 1/2 years ago. we were like 2 1/2 years ago when we wanted to learn and actual tried it. we wanted to learn because of our grandpa, they played a similar instrument like a guitar when they started a band when they were in their mids 20th (i think it was). we are both 19 and still play, in fact we have 2 bands that we started, 1st band at the age of 4 and the 2nd, which we started at the age of 15. we call our self fear and black eagle.
