Yes, I have a friend who used tow work there. Apparantly it's the happiest place in the world! But I'm sure like any job it gets monotonous after a while. One thing I noticed about Disney World is how CLEAN it is. Whover cleans up that place does their job well and keeps up with it throughout the day!

I bet it can be great fun working somewhere like that. I am sure it is hard work as well but at least everyone is there to have fun.

I have been to Disney World 25 times at least and I will never stop going. We have always had interesting discussions with the monorail drivers there and they are so wonderful to explain to everyone how things work ... many times a day!
There are so many cast members that deserve that extra pat on the back and they just don't get it. I have seen so many people try to put down parts of Disney World and they spend too much time doing that instead of having a great time living in a dream world by getting a break from reality while on vacation there.

Goodness, that is so awesome.
I have wanted to work at Disneyland for years now, even just as a summer job while I am studying. I was raised on Disney lore, so the cartoons, the movies, and the theme parks always have a place in my heart. I can't believe your husband is a Monorail driver, that just sounds like an incredible job.
It must be amazing the type of people he sees on a daily basis. That must be so much fun for him.

Never been to disney world though i have seen many a times over television. As an Indian resident i have never been to USA. As a child i have always liked the walt disney cartoons and had a desire to visit the place and get the chance to talk with my favourite cartoons. But never got the chance to do so. I guess it is that desire which still there in me to visit desiney world.

That sounds like a fun job, and I'm glad it's one that he enjoys. I've been to WDW twice, but it was a long time ago - and I'm so excited to be going again this September. My husband has never been, nor has my three-year-old daughter - I wanted to go while it was still magical for her, and I know she'll love the monorail. Maybe we'll even see him there! :)

What a fun job! He must be proud to work for such a great company. Some of the cast members do have thankless jobs though. A simple "thank you" can brighten any ones day. Even the ones who are working in a "magical" place.
The only thing different that I've noticed about the upkeep of the parks recently is that the restrooms aren't as pristine as they once were. But maybe with more traffic going through the parks it's harder now to keep up with the mess.
No matter how you cut it, there is nothing like a day at a Disney Park.

It's funny that you would ask that, because I do often wonder! I absolutely love Disney World and I think I would really enjoy working there. I always imagined myself being Cinderella or one of the characters, maybe Sleeping Beauty. I love Disney! That's really cool that your husband works there. It must be really fulfilling for him to be able to bring joy to so many people every day!

Your husband must have fun everyday of his life. I can imagine how beautiful Walt Disney World is and how much fun and joy it brings to so many. Your husband is lucky enough to be among those who provide joy and happiness to everyone who comes to pay a visit. Give him a pat on the back for me, I'll never be able to do it considering the distance.
