I lost 30 lbs last fall with regular exercise and by documenting everything I ate on a free weight loss website called www.sparkpeople.com where it automatically calculates all of the calories, fat, carbs etc. that you've eaten.
It will tell you how many calories you should eat in a day to reach your goal. It also has many great tips and tricks and chat features to get & give support from other members.

My only tip is that maybe you should try doing the Atkins diet correctly. Follow the carbohydrate ladder and don't use fake foods. It doesn't cause heart problems and will actually help heart problems.

Hi havfaith.
I am sorry to hear about your Heart Disease. I wonder, have you ever tried Weight Watchers? I have tried many diets over the years, including the low carb ones. For me, the best one is still Weight Watchers. It continues to rate well in the research when compared with different nutritional plans. Plus, it allows you to eat anything you want, you just have to focus on portion control. Also, walking, swimming, biking, or doing something for 30 minutes a day really helps also. Good luck.
