i have four cats that live with me and my family. they all live inside, but go out during the day. i was wondering if you keep your cats indoors or outdoors or both. when it's cold or rainy, our cats prefer to stay inside during the day and sleep:)

yes, i hate having my cats outside during bad weather and at night. there are wild cats the live around my house and they'll beat up my house cats if they stay out all night.

I've got a male and a female cat. Both have always been indoor cats. When I got each cat (2 years apart) I did not want them to have to deal with fleas, fights with other animals, weather conditions, and cars so I decided to keep them in the house. My cats live a cushy life and are happy and content in their surroundsings. GACathyMac

I have had cats for over 30 years. I have never ever let them outside. They stay indoors always. I was always afraid that they would get killed by a car, dogs, or pick up a disease from trash.

In my lifetime I have had both. Right now I have 2 indoor cats and I will NEVER have outdoor cats. I cannot take the mental stress of it.(cats outside do not usually live as long, they come back beatebn up,sick, they get killed, etc.)If I was to ever have an outdoor cat,I would want to live way out in the boonies and have a high fence around my yard.I woudl nto want my cat running around in other people's yards. There are too many cruel people.(they poison them, etc.)

All but 1 of my cats are indoor only cats. The one that goes out can come in whenever he pleases. he's been in lately because it has been cold, but he went out for a few hours today when it warmed up some.

They are cats and so independent I couldn't keep them in the house if I tried. They come indoors for comfort but go outside to hang out and do cat things for the bulk of the day. I wish they'd stay inside because I worry about them going in the road.
