Do you reply two times?

I have noticed that sometimes I have responded to the same post twice. It may have had a week or more inbetween. Guess the post appealed, right? And, best we all give true statements, if we do that, or we would be caught in a lie. Hehhehe. Having fun with y'all. But, have y'all done this or not?

If I reply twice in a discussion it is because I want to comment on the other persons reply. Yes I have caught a few people on mylot in a lie. people forget what they have said.

It hasn't happened to me yet, as I use the email system. If the emails don't come then I guess I could respond to the same topic twice or maybe more. I am sadly lacking in the gift of concentration.

I have done this a few times and after going back to check have noticed it! You are right about giving true statements the first time lol but it is all in fun and some do make the odd mistake or three!

I dont know. If it's got a lot of pages then my response is on the last page and I don't always go back and read all the responses from page one unless I am really interested in what everyone is saying or if its one of those discussion with lots of comments.

I forgot to say that I answer from my email and it takes you straight to the response box. Which is a pain sometime because I dont know what the folks before me have said.

I don't think Iv'e done it before. I always read all the responses before I answer so I would notice my old response if I had left one. Sometimes I think I've responded but it's a different discussion on the same topic.

Oh yes, this has happened to me on a number of occasions. It is hard to remember all the posts that we have replied to and some are very appealing and worth answering twice. :-) I am more careful now as I look to see if I posted already or not.

I did this just yesterday, to a dental question. I did notice that my answers were consistent to each other, but that my second one was longer.

I used to double up with my responses but now I always rate the discussions and look at the rat part first before I respond. I do like to check other answers sometimes too, especially if it was a discussion I was really interested in.

I wish there was a way to tell if we have already responded to a discussion. Many people post similar discussions so you can never be 100% sure if you have responded or not. It is not a problem if there is less than 20 comments, you can just search them but when there is 50 or more it takes up too much time to check them all.

I really understand why u say so because u have more than 12000 replies really difficult for u to keep track of the discussions u have replied...i mean while repsonding to the discussion they should automatically give some pop-up saying that u have already responded to the above discussion which would really help u a lot..anyways keep posting and enjoying..

I have often worried about doing this when I first started mylot but every since I started making sure to rate all discussions that I have responded to, it isn't a problem any more for me. Also, since I have all of my friends discussions sent to my inbox, I usually only get the discussion one time unless my friends accidentally post a discussion more than one time. I just look at it and make sure that I didn't rate it yet, then I know for sure I haven't responded to it yet.

I don't no if I have done it yet. I usually read and rate all replies to a discussion. But sometimes if there is alot of replies I don't read them all. So it is possible that I have repied more than once. I hope if I did, I didn't have different answers.
