i singed up my 3 year old daughter for soccer. i just went to buy her equipment. i was warned ahead of time i had to buy shorts in the guys section. i searched everywhere for the type of shorts she needed. they only start in size 4. my daughter is almost 4 and super skinny. she can barely even fit in size 3 pants with out them falling. anyway i had to get size 4 and when she runds about 1 foot they fall off. she's going to look cute out in the field with her shorts at her ankles. does anyone know where i could buy really tiny black umbro's or other soccer shorts?

She's only 3, can't you just find some shorts in the right color that will fit? It's not like they need to be anything special. Chances are most of the kids will spend the whole time looking at the grass instead of doing anything with the soccer ball.

they are required to wear black shorts and i can't find anything in girls and nothing in small sizes. it's a lot harder than you think to find sporty clothes for kids.

Spring clothes are starting to come out. I'm sure the little boys section at Walmart will have plain black shorts. You could also maybe get a pair of sweat pants (if there's no shorts in the stores yet) and cut them off.

when my niece did gymnastics last year, she was the same...barely in a 3 and she was 4. All they had was XS which was still very big. She just had them taken up...there was a big bump where they were taken up, but at least they didn't fall down. LOL

i've been safety pinning her skirts for dance class and she has a big bulge in the back of those too, i figured that's what i'd end up doing with the shorts if i can't find any.

I understand your problem my mom had these problems with me when I was young. I was so think I looked sick. My mom would have to practicly resew every piece of clothing she bought me. See if you cant take the seem out of the sides and resew them smaller. Good luck and enjoy these years with her because before you know it she will be all grown up and going to her prom. I miss the younger years.
