I used to date a man who had two daughters. His younger daughter was his favorite. I never understood this. I only had one child at the time and didn't think that I could love one child more than another. I thought it was strange, I mean I know everyone is different so I figured that when I had another child I would love them the same but for different reasons. Well, I ended up having another child with that same man. (We're not together anymore). I can't imagine saying that I love one more than the other. What was wrong with him. I love both of my children very much but could never choose between them.
Do you have favorites when it comes to your children?

I love both my children the same. They both do things that touch my heart in different ways. I don't understand why parents choose favorites, I think it's wrong.

I only have one child so far, but as much as I long for and am struggling to conceive a second, I cannot imagine loving another child any more - or less - than the one I've been blessed with already.
My best friend as a child had an older brother who was very obviously their mother's favorite - in fact, she TOLD them that he was her favorite, and that my friend was "an accident." I don't think I'll ever forget the pain that I know this caused her, and I would never, NEVER put my child/children in that situation. Even if I DID somehow feel differently about them, I would do my best to never let on. I'm sure the guilt I'd feel over it wouldn't allow it anyway.

You are right. My exes other daughter would sometimes overhear him saying that the younger one was his favorite. I would feel so bad for her. I don't have a favorite between my two but I agree. If I did feel that way for some reason I would never let them know it.

I have 2 girls who i love the same even with my youngest having life threating health problems. How can anyone love one less.
