Do you have a solution?

I am renting a house (with a not so nice landlord) and a guest spilled red white on the white carpet (murphy's law, I know). Any suggestions?

Resolve carpet cleaner works really well. If you can keep the stain from drying before you treat it, you will have an even better chance of getting it out. Spray some water on it if you have to go buy the carpet cleaner. If the carpet has any sort of stain guard on it, you may be able to pour water on the stain and blot (don't rub!) with a clean cloth. You will have to do this several times and it may still need a cleaner, too.
Good Luck!

What if it has already dried? Can I wet it down with water again?

-Sorry for the delay in answering back...
If it has already dried, your probably better off going straight to using resolve and letting it soak into the stain for a bit before blotting it up. Water won't really have the disolving power to get all of tht could out once it has set.
Good Luck.
