Yup it would be great if Bollywood allows Northeastern girls to come in but they do have no restrictions, they are free to try out! Any one can try for Bollywood and I am sure they can achieve success in Bollywood! Alienation of Northeast India has a lot to do with mainland India, I agree with you on that but Northeast India is not the only part which is facing alienation, lots of other part are also facing similar problems! We can solve this problem throught Bollywood, modelling, and sports!

I also think it will be great if we can encourage some people in the Northeast to join Bollywood and also encourage Bollywood to accept Northeast face. That way the alienation that North East people face will be greatly reduce. And that way India can be a unified nation. If North East people want to leave India, the fault lies partly with mainstream India too. I think she is still in modelling.

True, there is no restriction there as such. But I felt that for northeast people the people in charge need to give some push or some patronisation, at least in the beginning. After few years they can handle things themselves. For example, if Bollywood wants a chinese character in its movie, instead of a Punjabi doing the role, it would look much more realistic if a Naga or a Meetie take that role.
