We have a situation within our school system and I would like to know what you think. Two weeks ago at our school board meeting they were deciding next years principals. They decided to dismis our high school principal and replace him with one of our elemantary school principals and that one with a vice principal. Now everyone is in an uproar over it. No one understands why he has been let go. I must confess I worked at the high school for a while and I completly understand. The public however doesn't know becouse it has all been hush hush. They are having a public meeting about it tonight. I am just wondering if it will change anything. What do you think?

I think that the public should be in an uproar. As a teacher and a community member, I think the only reason we have jobs is because the community pays their taxes. That gives them a right to know why major things are happening within their district. Maybe he did need to go, but their children go to the schools, it should not be a secret from them. I get tired of the executive sessions behind closed doors. Those people are only community members with a title, why should they know and not others? This is surely just my opinion. Whatever happens I wish your district well, I know how these things can be...
