I really liked several of the movies based on King's stuff: The Green Mile, Shawshank Redemption, Stand by Me, The Shining (I like both versions), It, The Stand, Misery. I thought Dolores Claiborne was a pretty good adaptation, but just didn't capture me the way the book did.
Most of them I liked, but they were mildly disappointing.
The only one I really loathed was Pet Sematary.
And I'm really glad that his name was taken off of Lawnmower Man.

The best for me are: The Shining, Firestarter and Dreamcatcher. I can't think of the worst Stephen King movie though.

I haven't seen that many of the movies yet, I don't allow my self to watch them till i've read the book. I have seen the tv version of needful things and man did that suck. I was very disappointed. I am currently reading misery, so I haven't been able to watch that one yet.

I agree with your best. I wish they would remake some of the previous ones. I would love to see it made in the same way that Shawshank Redemption was made (you know exactly like the book)

I haven't seen all of them, I'm not to much into horror movies although I love the books. I've tried to watch both It and Pet Semetary and couldn't sit through the entire movies. But of the one's I have seen.. the best is The Green Mile and the worst is "The Running Man.
