I have my own nails. I cant afford the upkeep on false ones. I've rarely had long nails as mine just break and split. But a coupl eof months ago I discovered Dr LeWinn's Revitanail (you mentioned it in reply to someone else) and it's the best thing I've ever used. I finally have nails that grow past the tips of my fingers! They still break when too long but I can keep them longer than usual :) I just received the whole Dr LeWinn's luxury nail kit and am going to start the whole regime :)

Male and short nails.Nails grow at an average rate of 0.1 mm/day (1 cm every 100 days)[1]. Fingernails require 4 to 6 months to regrow completely. Toenails require 12 to 18 months. Actual growth rate is dependent upon age, season, exercise level, and hereditary factors.
