If you are in company and torn between leaving or staying, what would be your considerations to stay or to leave.

We make our decisions and thus make our fate. I think if you are not happy with your current profession try finding another that will make you happy than regreting all your life why have you not made the change when you still have the chance.

My top consideration would have to be money. I couldn't take anything that paid less than I make now. Other considerations would be what was out there that, say, was similar to what I am doing but had a better workload. It's also important to compare benefits such as health insurance, vacation, etc. If there are other companies out there that you are taking a look at, try to get a sense of their atmosphere as compared to where you work now. Is the atmosphere really tense in your current company, but more relaxed in a company you are considering? Another thing you might want to consider is if you really want to leave your company or if maybe you would be happy staying there if some changes were made, such as moving to a different department. Good luck in your decision.

Most companies give you more paid vacation time depending how many years you put in with them. I now have 7 weeks per year of paid holiday time. That is the one thing that has kept me from leaving the company a few times. I would have to give up my holidays and probably start back at 2 weeks.

It depends on how late it is. I would have to go if it was too late and put my children to bed. I would stay longer if it was early.
