what exactly is this im hearing about online poker in the us? they havent gona into much detail online but as a canadian player im wonderin is poker a taxable income or what if you didnt pay tax on what you win if ou win?

I believe you have to win over $1000 in one incident to have to report it as a source of income. In the US online gambling for money has been prohibited, but where there is a will there is a way. I still play on Poker Stars and use my FFP to get into money tourneys. Poker Stars isn't being shut down, they are just following the laws from the US about US poker players putting money on Poker Stars.
