ways to prevent terrorism

The best way I can suggest is that address the root cause of the violence. Research and find out as to why the so called torrorists have taken arms, they too are human beings, after all no one would take an Ak-47 and shoot at everyone without a real reason unless he's mad. Lets face it, stopping supply of weopans or brute force will never stop terrorism and I don't think any so called terrorist group was eliminated by means of brute force in history. So try to solve their(terrorists) problem and inturn solve ours in the process.

I would think that education and fighting poverty would help, since most terrorists are misguided illiterates that are taken advantage of. I think some kind of compromise between Palestine and Israel would help, although I think there would obviously be trouble trying to do that. I also think the moderation and secularization of government in Islamic states as well as the moderate Muslims speaking out against fundamentalism and a change from the ulema.
