Okay, we all know this is a touchy subject but it must be started. Do you consider yourself racist? Now... don't just pop off the gums and say NO! really examine yourself. Examine what you said about the Mexican/Hispanic worker working on the construction site, or the black male you see over on the westside of town. Really think about yourself here.

Hi there neighbor. I'm definitely a racist.
Only not as most would define one. I am the
type of person who dislikes most people, not
because of their race, nationality, religion,
etc., but because most people are pretentious.
Most people are fake, they are not who they seem
to be. I find that to be unbearable. People are
afraid to be themselves because they are afraid
they won't be accepted.
When it comes to race, nationality, religion, etc.,
I judge an individual by the same standards as I
would judge myself.

I'm not really sure, some people say that I'm not but other people say I am in a way. I have no problem with color of people I have colored friends but, I don't believe in mixing races and having mixed children. I just don't think it's right in my own oppion. I think we should just stay with our own race. So, if you think I'm racist I'm sorry.. This is just how I feel and the friends I do have undrstand it.

I don't consider myself racist. I don't think anything about the hispanic workers - I live in Florida - there is a lot of hispanic culture here - Mexican, Cuban, Puerto Rican. I don't think anything differently of skin color... my family is part native American. I have friends of all races. I have had Thai, Korean, and Mexican boyfriends. I look at people based on their values, goals, beliefs... who they are on the inside... not based on skin color. And honestly - I was in Mexico in October and our guide at the Mayan ruins had the most beautiful skin color I have ever seen - and it wasn't white.

Nope, I'm not a racist. Part of it could be because I am tri racial. I say tri because I am American Indian (paternal grandmother), Filipino (mother), and Irish (father). The other part could be because I went to school where there were kids of all ethnic groups and my best friend since 1st grade is African American (sadly we lost touch at the age of 19). I've never had a problem with any race. However, I don't like anyone, no matter what race they are, that would harm other human beings (whether it be war, rape, murder, etc).

I'm not a racist at all - there was no element of this in my up-bringing. I don't prejudge people based on their appearence, it makes no sense to me at all that paople do.
I am aware of cultural difference that tend to be present in people of different races but I don't just assume that someone is going to behave in a certain way because of their race.
