I love Josh Groban! I love all his songs. Even ones I don't even understand. His voice is just so pleasant to the ears. My favorites are Home to Stay and Vincent. Vincent, I've loved that song since before. And when he sang his version of it, it just made me love it more. As to Home to Stay, I think I could relate... I don't know... It has good lyrics, kinda sad.

My most favorite Josh Groban song is "Jesu, Joy of Man's Desiring" because the melody is so soothing and the lyrics are inspirational. But I also love so many other songs like You're Still You, To Where You Are, You are Loved, The Prayer and yes, Canto Alla Vita with the Corrs. I love the fact that they came together through David Foster and that the song is filled with the Corrs' signature music of the violin and the bodhran drum :)

LOL! I love Josh Groban! He has this amazingly strong and melodic voice and it's just breathtaking when he sings! My favourites would be Si Volvieras A Mi (spanish), When You Say You Love Me, You Raise Me Up (my friend sang this at commencement and it brought shivers down my spine - ever since then I've loved the song), and Let Me Fall (the lyrics have so much meaning!). I generally like his english songs better because then I can fully grasp the meaning of the song, but sometimes I just like listening to him for his voice. It's very soothing :D

I like all of Josh Groban's songs. They are always outstanding pieces of music. Well, even that "Music of the Night" he sang in New York. Right now though, my favorite is "Remember Me." Before this, it was "You Are Loved."
The "Remember Me" video, a montage of clips from the movie "Troy" really matches the dynamism of Josh Groban's singing. It is a must to watch and to listen to.
I would like to explain why I seemed reluctant to include "Music of the Night." It was good singing as usual, however, (yes there is a "however")I felt that it lacked the depth of emotion easily conveyed by Broadway stars. There is a certain quality in the singing of musicals that Josh still needs to learn. It has nothing to do with the quality of voice. I guess it comes with theater experience, if not years of experience in the musical theatre. And so, when we listen to a song very much identified with Broadway, our "programed" ears look for the emotion. I missed it. But that is not to say that Josh didn't sing it well. Of course he still did.

I have two songs that pop out in my mind...
The first is "Per Te".
The second one is "Believe", The Polar Express' soundtrack.
I like "Per Te" even though I don't understand its message. I just listening to it...Perhaps it's because the one singing it has an undoubtedly beautiful voice.
I like "Believe" because of its message...it's so inspiring...
