The BlackBerry 8300 codenamed "Daytona" was making it's debut in Spain early this morning. This new RIM features a 2 megapixel camera with LED flash, GPS, and WiFi. Spanish site Xataka speculates that this media savvy device will carry an 8300 model number when it hits stores this summer.

You say Spain, i presume there's a big launch and everything at a trade show ?
I have a 7100 and might well look for something a bit better in the near future. That will be via Ebay though, so shipping from Spain might be a bit costly lol
Thanks for the info on the new one.

The BlackBerry 8300 was debuted in Spain, however it is expected to be release in the US; but that release date is still unknown.

It's snazzy looking. I guess the camera feature on the Pearl is something RIM's looking to bring into their whole new line?
I've got a 7290, and I really don't care that it doesn't have a camera -- I have a tiny Sony Elph digicam that takes better pictures than a mobile ever would.
