Is it true that these can replace doctor prescribed medicines? Or should they be taken at the same time? Is it also true that these take longer to work? That they don't damage your liver or have other bad side effects like chemically made drugs? Please share your knowledge about this because I drink a couple of herbal medications.

Modern medicines originally came from herbs. They thought that they were smart and duplicated the one active ingredient and called it good. Often to the detriment of the body. The herb is balanced and does often take time to work. They too can damage the liver so you must understand what the herb is and what it does and therefore if it treats what you know to be wrong with you.
If I knew the drinks you have..teas are great...then I could tell you what they are supposed to be for. Your doctor should know what you are using herbally. Some do interact and sometimes cancel effects. Don't want to waste money.
