should YOUR country lower its minimum voting age?

in a world of communication, televion, and internet, the youth are more informed about the world than ever before.. but minimum voting age for most countries is still 18 .. should this be lowered? what are the rules in your country? what do you think?

This is a great question, btu I think it should remain as 18. That is of the age where people should have some job experirnece under there belt and are about to leave the parents for a differnet life on their own. Other wise they might be more compelled to vote how their parents urge them to.
It is good that the youth are more informed. But I think to make a more informed dission, they should have a bit more experinece in life.

No. The information may be out there, but many do not care. Voting should be for people mature enough to think about the information given and draw logical conclusions from it, something that is hard enough to get a typical 18 year old to do.
